2016 Green Energy and Power Security Beijing International Science and Technology Cooperation Center Annual Meeting Was Successfully Held
On December 5,2016, the Green Energy and Power Security Beijing International Science and Technology Cooperation Center Annual Meeting was held in Tsinghua University. Prof. Zeng Rong, director of the Department of Electrical Engineering, hosted the meeting. The international experts who attended the annual meeting were as follows: Prof. A.G. Phadke with Virginia Polytechnic University, member of National Academy of Engineering; Prof. M. Shahidehpour with Illinois Institute of Technology, member of National Academy of Engineering; Dr. Alex Apostolov, American expert in Relay protection, IEEE Fellow; Dr. Tim Coombs with University of Cambridge, UK; Prof. Peter Crossley with University of Manchester, UK and Prof. Seung Jae Lee with Myongji University,Korea.
Gao Xiguang , the teacher of Scientific Research Institute in Tsinghua University, Prof. Kang Chongqing, secretary of Party Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Xiao Xi, deputy director of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Associate Professor Lu Zongxiang, deputy director of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Bo Zhiqian with Xuji Group Cooperation, Prof. Zhang Boming, Prof. Zhu Shouzhen, Associate Professor Wang Bin and Associate Professor Shi Shenxing attended the meeting. Prof. Dong Xinzhou, director of the center, reported the 2016 annual work report and the 2017 work plan. Participants at home and abroad highly appraised the center's 2016 work performance and actively gave advice on the new year's work program.
